These four special guests joined us for OKIE's exciting evening. Top-notch, well-rounded students from high schools in Seminole and Norman, they shared their excitement with everyone, having just flown back from Israel. They were VIP participants in the recent AIFL-YASE-OKIE [AIFL: American-Israel Friendship League--YASE: Youth Ambassador Student Exchange--OKIE: Oklahoma Israel Exchange] October 28 through November 27 student exchange. Indeed, quite an honor. |

More than 250 attendees dined recently at the Skirvin Hilton, in Oklahoma City, for the special "Statewide Tribute to OKIE's Melvin Moran," of Seminole. The unique group comprised Gov. Brad and Kim Henry, several Oklahoma legislators, Cabinet members and business leaders. Moran has contributed much to Oklahoma tourism, energy and banking, as well as being the founder of the nationally acclaimed Jasmine Moran Children's Museum in Seminole, named in honor of his wife, who also attended. |
